Public Consultation for the Expansion of Very High-Capacity Networks in Underserved Areas

The Department of Electronic Communications of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, announces the start of a public consultation for the Expansion of Very High-Capacity Networks in Underserved Areas. The project is addressed to telecom providers, aiming to deploy Very High Capacity Networks (VHCN), mainly in rural and semirural areas where there is no private interest for investments, thus bridging the relevant investment gap.

The Public Consultation document is posted below.

Interested parties are invited to submit their written views on the said project, by July 23, 2022.
