The Director of the Department of Electronic Communications announces the launch of a public consultation for the National Electronic Identity Scheme. According to the decision of the Ministerial eGovernment Board of Cyprus (February 2019), the Government of Cyprus will develop the National Electronic Identity Scheme, which will be implemented by the private sector.

Interested parties are invited to submit their comments by the 21 of February 2020.
